Walking the Edge of the Rainbow (قدم زدن بر لبه رنگین کمان), 2026

Acrylic, water-soluble graphite sticks, charcoal, wax pastels, and textural mediums on canvas / 120 x 120 x 3.5 cm (47.2 x 47.2 x 1.4 in)

A state of suspension between memory and the void. This work explores the solitude of a fragile balance, inhabiting the threshold where vibrant hope meets the melancholic weight of uncertainty. To walk the edge of the rainbow is an act of resistance: a movement forward when there is no solid ground, hanging only by a thread of light.

In memory of the rainbow that colored the grey skies of Tehran, just moments before Nowruz 1405 (2026).
